It’s the wrong time of year to go quiet. NCAA teams have three or fewer weeks left. Canadian junior clubs have fewer than 15 games remaining. All 12 Rangers prospects are on track for the playoffs, but several may only get one game.
Raoul Boilard scored the only goal of the night in Cape Breton’s 4–1 loss to the Newfoundland Regiment. His power‑play goal cut the deficit to 3–1.

It was his 13th of the season, giving him a 13–20–33 line. Cape Breton still clinched a QMJHL playoff spot.
Rasmus Larsson extended his first NCAA scoring streak to two games. He earned a secondary assist in Robert Morris’s 4–1 win over Canisius.
Larsson went pointless in his first 13 games, but the Colonials have won five of six and are now tied for third in Atlantic Hockey. They can still finish second with three games left.
In the OHL, Evan Passmore did not record a stat in Barrie’s 5–1 win over London. The Colts have won nine straight and trail Brantford by two points.
Boston College defenseman Drew Fortescue was scoreless in the 13th‑ranked Eagles’ 5–2 win over No. 11 UConn. The victory moved BC into second place in Hockey East.
Michigan State defenseman Sean Barnhill did not record a point in the top‑ranked Spartans’ 8–2 win over Notre Dame in Big Ten action. The victory pushed Michigan State past Michigan for first place with four games remaining.

North Dakota defenseman E. J. Emery was scoreless in the third‑ranked Fighting Hawks’ 4–4 tie with St. Cloud State. St. Cloud won the shootout and took the extra point. UND cannot clinch the Penrose Cup this weekend and has three games remaining.
Western Michigan forward Ty Henricks did not score in the fourth‑ranked Broncos’ 1–1 tie with Colorado College. WMU won the shootout but remains five points behind North Dakota. The Broncos must win out and get help to move up.
In the OHL, forward Liam Greentree and the Windsor Spitfires were shut out 3–0 by the Kitchener Rangers. Windsor sits second in the West Division and third in the Western Conference with 12 games remaining.
