Only Evan Passmore was in action on Saturday. His Barrie Colts closed out the Ottawa 67’s in five games with a 4–1 win. Passmore’s lone mark on the scoresheet was a high‑sticking minor in the first period.
Barrie moves on to the OHL Eastern Conference Finals. The Colts will face the Brantford Bulldogs, who are 8–0 in the playoffs. Brantford also finished with the league’s best regular‑season record, so Barrie enters as a heavy underdog.
Passmore now joins Windsor’s Liam Greentree as the last two New York Rangers prospects still playing. Windsor will meet the Kitchener Rangers in the Western Conference Finals. They’ll be underdogs as well, since Kitchener had the OHL’s second‑best record.
Schedules for both series have not been released, so game dates are still unknown.
