Greentree’s Hat Trick Leads Windsor
Windsor captain Liam Greentree recorded his second hat trick of the season in a 6-1 win over London. The OHL’s first star of the night continued his surge after scoring twice on Thursday.
First Goal : A perfect slot deflection for his 30th of the season.
Second Goal : A turnover fed him the puck, and he buried his 31st.
Third Goal: A clean one‑timer from the left circle for his 32nd, now leading all Rangers prospects and is tenth in goals in the OHL.
Greentree improved to 32-27-59 in 43 games this season. Since joining the Rangers’ system, he is 6-5-11 in nine games.
The win moved Windsor past idle Flint for the West Division lead. Windsor will host Evan Passmore’s Barrie Colts on Saturday in a matchup of division leaders.
Spence Posts Three Points for Michigan
Michigan freshman Malcom Spence had a 1-2-3 night as the second‑ranked Wolverines beat Brody Lamb’s Minnesota Golden Gophers 4-2. Spence opened his scoring with his ninth goal of the season in the second period.
He showed speed and soft hands on the breakaway finish. The play earned Michigan’s Allstate “Good Hands Play of the Game.”

The goal gave Michigan a 2-1 lead before Minnesota tied it In the third period, Spence later set up the game‑winning goal with a sharp pass to Asher Barnett.

He added a third point with the lone assist on an empty‑net goal. Spence ends his regular season with a 9-11-20 line.
Minnesota’s Brody Lamb was scoreless with two regular‑season games left in his Gophers career.
Michigan closed its Big Ten regular season with the win and now must wait for its final seeding. The Wolverines hold a four‑point lead over Michigan State, but MSU still has three games left.
Emery Helps North Dakota Clinch Title
North Dakota defenseman E.J. Emery had an assist in a 5-3 win over Western Michigan. Ty Henricks was scoreless for the Broncos.
Emery earned a secondary assist on the third‑period game winner. The victory clinched the NCHC regular‑season title and the Penrose Cup.
It gives them hold home‑ice advantage throughout the NCHC playoffs. Emery improved to 3-6-9, while Henricks went scoreless for a fourth straight game.
Western Michigan remains locked into at least third place and will host a first‑round series.
Passmore Extends Barrie’s Streak
Barrie defenseman Evan Passmore had an assist in a 2-1 overtime win over Sarnia. He earned a secondary assist on the opening goal to reach 2-7-9 this season.
The win was Barrie’s 11th straight and clinched the Central Division title. The Colts remain three points behind Brantford for the Eastern Conference lead.
Barnhill Quiet in MSU Loss
Michigan State freshman Sean Barnhill was scoreless in a 5-1 loss to Ohio State. He skated on the third defense pair for the top‑ranked Spartans.
MSU trails Michigan by four points with three games left.
Fortescue Scoreless in BC Loss
Boston College defenseman Drew Fortescue was scoreless in a 3-1 loss to Boston University. The defeat likely ended BC’s hopes of earning the top Hockey East seed.
BC has three games left and holds a two‑point lead over UConn for second place.
Gonchar Extends Streak for Sudbury
Sudbury defenseman Artem Gonchar had two assists in a 6-3 loss to North Bay. He extended his scoring streak to four games, posting 1-5-6 in that span.
Gonchar now sits at 12-33-45 this season which is second on Sudbury. He remains a strong candidate for an Amateur Tryout Contract with the Rangers.
Boilard’s Eagles Shut Out
Raoul Boilard and Cape Breton were shut out 4-0 by Quebec. The game featured 14 misconducts for unsportsmanlike conduct, though Boilard was not involved.
Boilard went 12-3 on faceoffs despite playing left wing.
